1. Overview

This privacy policy explains how Anchor Marianas LLC ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with deathmoney.fyi (the "service"). deathmoney.fyi is built to be privacy first, so most of your financial data never leaves your device.

2. Data stored in your browser

The financial data you enter or import, such as transactions, balances, and calculator inputs, is stored locally in your browser using local storage. It stays on your device, is not sent to our servers, and is not visible to us. If you clear your browser storage, that data is deleted.

3. Optional AI analysis

The service offers an optional AI analysis of statements you choose to submit. When you use it, the statement text you provide is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate results and is not used by us to build a profile of you. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sending to a third-party processor. If you do not use this feature, no statement data is transmitted.

4. Payments

If you purchase a paid license, payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

5. Analytics

We use privacy-conscious analytics providers, including Vercel Analytics and PostHog, to understand how the service is used and to improve it. These tools may collect information such as pages visited, general device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and interaction events. We use this in aggregate and do not use it to identify you personally.

6. Cookies and local storage

The service uses local storage to save your data on your device and may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics. You can clear this data through your browser settings at any time.

7. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers described above, such as our hosting, analytics, payment, and AI providers, so they can perform services on our behalf, and where required by law.

8. Your choices

• Clear your browser local storage to delete data saved on your device.
• Decline the optional AI analysis to avoid transmitting statement data.
• Use your browser or device controls to limit cookies and tracking.
• Contact us with any request regarding your information.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
